Reference to the Work of Pantazis 'Vase of Flowers', 1996

Born in 1954 in Athens, where she lives and works. She graduated from the Athens School of Fine Arts, where she studied under Kostas Grammatopoulos (1972–7); she went on to study at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, under Marcel Gili (1977–8). Her work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions, and can be found in private and public collections. She tells stories of personal mythology and experience, in an interactive path of past and present, and an iconographic state somewhere between vividness and abstraction
