He studied painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1954). In 1961 he went to Paris and then to South America, where he worked from 1961 to
1962, and in 1963 settled in New York. A painter and sculptor of the diaspora, his sculptures and paintings are characterised by a marked stylistic difference between them: In his sculpture, he does not depart substantially from traditional styles, whereas his paintings are
certainly modern and distinctive in style. He has held solo exhibitions (Nees Morfes 1974; Del Valentino Gallery, New York, 1976; Kochlias, Thessaloniki, 1980; Hellenic American Union, Athens, 1980, 1982, 1984; Maliotis Cultural Center, Brooklyn, Massachusetts, 1981; Art Expo New York 1983; Argo 1986, Zygos, Washington, 1987; Kouros, New York, 1988; Embassy of Greece, New York, 1992; Vorres Museum, Athens, 1994) and has participated in group exhibitions. He is a member of EETE.
