Charos Manolis

He studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des BeauxArts (1977–1982, Cum Laude), and obtained a postgraduate degree from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs. In 1984, he received the Prix des Fondations from the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts. In 1998, he received the Academy of Athens Award for best artist under 40. He has worked for advertising campaigns for the National Book Centre of Greece and Absolute Vodka, as well as for the Therapy Centre for Dependent Individuals, Korydallos Detention Centre. He has produced illustrations for Andreas Kalvos’ Odes and Aesop’s Fables. He has participated in international exhibitions; his work is in the Wine and Alcohol Museum in Stockholm, Bonham’s, Sotheby’s in London and Paris
