Window with a view

He studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts under Michalis Tombros and later at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs under Felix Labisse. He has presented his work in group exhibitions, and in 1959 staged his first solo exhibition at his studio, housed at the Baron Michael Tossizza Foundation in Kifissia.

Roosters were a characteristic element of his paintings, in which he did not emphasise details but rather focused on the mass of forms, and he used them symbolically in combination with the human form.
