The principal means of expression of the problems created by everyday reality are for Touloupas colour and its application to the canvas. Large colour surfaces cover one another and are balanced by small figures of contrasting chromatic value and strong linear elements within the framework of abstract expressionism, but with some characteristics that denote recognizable pictures. The strong sense of balance and the use of the same colour to define the structure of the painting create a feeling of motion, rhythm and harmony.
